Story

Coach Phil has had a passion for soccer ever since he first kicked a ball at age 4! His love for the game grew over the years, and allowed him to compete at some of the highest levels across the country, including playing Division 1 soccer at Valparaiso University in Indiana. 

After college, Phil pursued another passion — broadcast journalism. While loving every minute of his 15+ years in TV news, he got back into youth soccer through his 3 sons.  Looking to make a positive change in youth soccer in San Antonio, Coach Phil founded Soccer Unlimited in 2024.

Coach Phil has a passion for player development and helping kids get better, faster! His training methods focus on technical skills, which put players on track for a long and successful soccer journey. Plus, he strives to make every session fun and engaging!

Since its founding, Coach Phil and the staff at Soccer Unlimited have helped train over a hundred youth athletes.  Soccer Unlimited welcomes new and established players, and hopes to build a love for the game that lasts a  lifetime.
